As the Director of MoonTree Studios, Matthew Celmer lives at the intersection of art, ecology, and spirituality. His work is rooted in the practice of “Fearlessly Creating”—guiding others toward a life of open-mindedness and active inquiry for the well-being of our communities and our planet.

Matthew is the architect of Rebel Communication Theory, a gentle but radical shift in how we view our words. He suggests that our communication is not just something we do, but the very essence of who we are. By engaging in simple, authentic conversation, we perform a quiet rebellion against social injustice and the transience of life, affirming our existence with every word shared.

What is a Courage Champion in my world?

To be a Courage Champion is to be a gardener of the human spirit. The goal is to literally en-courage others—to help them tap into their deep well of authenticity. By doing so, we empower individuals to shape not only their true selves but also the world they inhabit.

Why it matters:

Encouragement is a beautiful, two-way street; we often find that by pouring into others, our own cups are filled. In this space, leadership transforms into a shared journey. When we lead by example, we eventually find ourselves inspired to follow the incredible examples set by those we serve.
